How to update your industry and vertical in Klaviyo

You will learn

Learn how to view and edit your business' industry and vertical in Klaviyo. Your Klaviyo account should always accurately reflect your business’ industry and vertical.

You can only update your industry or vertical 2 times every 30 days.

Access your industry and vertical

Select your organization name in the bottom left corner.
Click Setting.
Select Organization along the left-hand side menu.
Scroll to the bottom of the page to the section on your Industry information.

Change your industry

To change the industry associated with your account:

Click into the dropdown under Industry and select 1 of the following options:
- Ecommerce, Apparel & Accessories
- Ecommerce, Automotive
- Ecommerce, Electronics
- Ecommerce, Food & Beverage
- Ecommerce, Hardware & Home Improvement
- Ecommerce, Health & Beauty
- Ecommerce, Home & Garden
- Ecommerce, Jewelry
- Ecommerce, Mass Merchant
- Ecommerce, Office Supplies
- Ecommerce, Specialty
- Ecommerce, Sporting Goods
- Ecommerce, Toys & Hobbies
- Non-Ecommerce
  - Agency, Marketing, and Consulting
  - Banking, Finance, and Insurance
  - Events & Entertainment
  - Education
  - Travel
  - Non-Profit
  - Politics & Government
  - Real Estate & Construction
  - Restaurants
  - Software / SaaS
  - Telecommunications
  - Travel
  - Others
Click Save to update your information.

Change your vertical

You can only select a vertical if you are within 1 of the following ecommerce industries:

Apparel and accessories
Electronics
Health and beauty
Home and garden
Specialty

To change the vertical:

Select the dropdown under Vertical and choose 1 of the following options:
- For Ecommerce, Apparel & Accessories:
  - Footwear
  - Hats
  - Activewear
  - Fast Fashion
  - Maternity and children's clothes
  - Swimwear
  - Other
- For Ecommerce, Electronics:
  - Phone carriers
  - Photography equipment and services
  - Other
- For Ecommerce, Health & Beauty:
  - Skincare
  - Haircare
  - Fragrance
  - Makeup
  - Dental products
  - Eyewear
  - Fitness and wellness
  - Supplements
  - Other
- For Ecommerce, Home & Garden:
  - Bedding
  - Furniture
  - Other
