How to update your brand styles in Klaviyo

Your brand style includes the following elements:

To update your brand style:

These settings are used in:

Social link blocks
Header blocks
Email templates created by clicking Create blank email from the template library
Emails in new flows selected from the flow library

Anywhere in Klaviyo where you can select colors or fonts, you'll see your brand options.

Changing these settings will not update any existing blocks, templates, or flows.

Your brand style is used for your default email templates, and you can adjust exactly how each element is used.

Defaults are applied to:

Email actions when creating a pre-built flow from the flows library.
Default block styles when dragging a new block from within the email template editor.
Creating a new template from scratch.

To edit your defaults:

In the Klaviyo sidebar, navigate to Content > Images & brand.
Select the Defaults tab.
Click Edit.
Select the header, body, and footer to edit how elements such as font and color are used in each section.
Once you’re done editing, click Save.

When rebranding, make sure to update these key areas of Klaviyo:

Universal content
Universal content is used in email templates to apply edits across multiple templates at once. By creating and using a universal content block or section, you can make adjustments to all or many emails quickly and easily. When you rebrand, start by updating your universal content to save time editing flows and draft campaign emails.
Flows
Review all of your active (i.e., live) flow messages and edit them to match your new brand colors, fonts, voice, and overall style. You must edit every flow message separately. Consider setting a flow message to Manual status while you edit it.
Most-used templates
If you use a base template when drafting your campaigns, update it to match your new styles so it is easier to build campaigns in the future.
Consent pages
Consent pages include subscribe, unsubscribe, and manage preferences pages. Edit each of your consent pages to match your new brand.
Sign-up forms
Edit any live sign-up forms with your new brand font and colors.
Header and social links
Adding links in the Header and Social tabs apply to new header bar blocks and new social link blocks, respectively. Existing content in Klaviyo will not be impacted by these changes.
